Economy Hire: A booking-led site for a 40-year-old Ringwood van and car hire firm
Economy Hire (Southern) Ltd has rented vans and cars from Ringwood for over 40 years. Their site had to get customers from search to a booked vehicle in as few taps as possible, and rank for local hire searches across Hampshire and Dorset.
The brief
Vehicle hire is a local, intent-driven search. Someone in Verwood needs a Luton van on Saturday. The site had to show availability, take a booking and make the phone number impossible to miss, while a separate sales and storage business shared the same brand.
What we did
- Put a Book Now panel in the hero with pick-up location, dates, vehicle type and driver age, connected to the hire booking system.
- Built hire, sales and storage sections with their own navigation so each line of business is easy to find.
- Wrote and structured local landing content for Ringwood, Verwood and the wider Hampshire and Dorset area.
- Kept the brand's red and yellow but modernised the type and layout for mobile.
The result
A site built around one action: book. Online bookings and enquiries are up, local search visibility has grown, and customers get from search to a booked vehicle in a few taps.
